Oh my... group effort... me and my friends with their new Brother 10 needle machine. They did not have the fast frames that work oh so cleverly (thanks to the poster on the MW Yahoo group) so we bravely pressed on with the regular hoop. We were surprised when we had a few thread breaks... Well, imagine our surprise when we took the hoop off the machine! I laughed... they were horrified and felt awful! (This is the same friend that while "teaching" her I stitched 90% of a design upside down! Turn around is fair play... only kidding of course... entirely accidental... these things happen. I left it with them.... had to, you couldn't extricate the tote from the hoop! They are going to try to remove the stitches... we'll see how that goes as we didn't use any stabilizer! You're all encouraged to laugh along with us!
The silver lining is, that machine stitches really well! Through several layers of heavy tote fabric, bound seams, and even the stiffener that is in the top hem.
