As you can see there is virtually no fullness to the skirt. So I am about to rip it apart and make it a smaller size, which will give me more fullness.

Blanket for Pinkerton
We lost our wonderful Pinkerton on April 30, 2012. He was 14 years and 7 months old. I made this blanket to cover him in his casket. We buried him in a pet cemetery in Midland. I stitched the last line in a slightly darker colour since I'd used up a whole spool doing the first three lines and I didn't want to run out part way through that last line.. And it is looking a bit darker still because it is still damp from removing the stabilizer. I have another piece of this fabric and will likely make another, almost the same, for us here at home.

Back of Beatrix Potter/Peter Rabbit quilt
My first quilt!
This is for my grandbaby, Teddy. Beatrix Potter designs: Bernina. Various Beatrix Potter fabrics. I cut the srips with my Accuquilt cutter. Quilting is stitch-in-the-ditch along the horizontal seams, echo quilting around the embroidery designs (stitched with leather roller foot #55 on my Bernini 830) and Sashiko (by machine; Babylock) stitching around the squares.
